One morning we decided on a quiet walk in the park and could not think of anywhere more peaceful than Woodstock Farm. Located on the Chuckanut byway this 16 acre park offers trails, diverse wildlife and scenic viewpoints. A few historic buildings are scattered along the property, but are available for viewing by appointment only. Park hours are from dawn to dusk and parking is limited so be sure to get there early.

One our way home we stopped to check out the Chuckanut Bay Gallery and Sculpture Garden. A beautiful little shop that features work from over 400 artists, offering pottery, wooden crafts, art prints, jewelry and so much more. They also have a garden space with sculpture, wind chimes, bird houses etc. Here it’s hard not to find a gift that someone will love!
