We recently made a trip out to New York to celebrate a special 70th birthday. Now when I say New York I don’t mean the city—I’m talking about Grass Lake. It’s a quiet little area generally known for fishing and boating. We spent some time there and also checked out Alexandria Bay and Clayton. If you’re in Clayton be sure to stop by Bella’s for a bite to eat. Good food and great views of the St. Lawrence River. One of the trip’s highlights for me was being in Chicago (which I’ve never been to) and trying the famed Chicago Dog. Loved that neon-green sweet pickle relish! Getting home was a bit trickier due to the global tech outage and in general bad weather. Thanks to American Airlines for getting us there and back again safely!
