Lettered Streets Coffeehouse

A cozy neighborhood cafe located in the 133-year old historic Breitenstein building on Dupont Street. It was originally constructed in the summer of 1890 by a German bricklayer Frederick W. Breitenstein. The building has housed apartments, cafes, a meat market to name a few—enough history to even feel a little haunted maybe! At least that was the sense I got while sitting there enjoying my coffee. More commonly it’s known as a chill work/ study location that serves up tasty beverages and snacks. Give it a try if you’re looking for a relaxing cafe with an old world vibe!
