What are your Spring destinations—have you considered taking a stroll through 50 acres of flower fields with an additional 5 plus acre display garden? World-renowned RoozenGaarde is one of the largest tulip fields known to the Skagit Valley Tulip Festival which starts in April. You will find over 200 different tulip and daffodil varieties growing here, where the gardens are redesigned every year and hand-planted with more than 11 million bulbs. The expansive and colourful fields are perfect for walking and photo opportunities. Open Monday through Friday from 9am to 7pm, and Saturday through Sunday from 8am to 7pm. Ticket prices range from $16 on weekdays and $20 on weekends—no pets allowed. Parking is free. Other amenities include special need accessibility, gift shop, food available for purchase, seating area, and is a family friendly venue. The season for tulips is almost to a close so if you wanted to catch them, the time to visit is NOW! Be sure to grab a beautiful tulip bouquet ($8) from the gift shop on your way out!
