Have you heard about henry (lowercase h)? Chances are you’ve probably seen more than heard. I’m of course talking of the mural artist Ryan Henry Ward who has been painting public and residential spaces since 2007. Most of his work is located in Seattle (Ballard, Fremont, and Wallingford) but he has created over 500 murals across the country, in even, yes, Bellingham. If you’re looking for his murals in Bellingham the largest is located behind Dewey Griffon Subaru on Iowa Street. Others are in the tunnel at Larrabee State Park and the wall outside of Flatstick Pub on State Street. His recent project is attempting to install 1000 Sasquatch Heads on garage doors or public-facing surfaces. Currently he’s looking for participants and is now accepting requests.
