Down near Waypoint Park in Bellingham, on the side of the condos that have just gone up, is a new mural done by the artist Naomi Haverland. It’s a gorgeous mermaid existing in her element. Typically Haverland specializes in hyperrealism and often funny portraiture which has won her many recognitions and awards. Take some time and take in this impressive and beautiful new art installation—and as they say, in an ocean full of fish, be a mermaid!
